I am Ange, 14 years old and French. I currently live in Cambodia, a country my family and I chose for its beauty, culture, and peaceful way of life. I left France at the age of 7 with my family, leaving behind our life, friends, and routines, with only four carry-on backpacks, one per person. We set out to become nomads and explore the world. Since then, we have traveled to Spain, the Canary Islands, Croatia, Portugal, Italy, Thailand, Malaysia, and now Cambodia, collecting unique experiences and unforgettable memories.
Since I was very young, I have been passionate about photography and videography. I started with a Sony A58 and now use a Sony ZV-E10 Mark II to capture our travels and adventures. Every moment, landscape, and smile is an opportunity to tell a story through my lens. I am self-taught, learning from YouTube and TikTok videos of professional photographers and videographers, studying their techniques and tips to develop my personal style.
At 13, I created my first short film, When Dance Becomes Peace. This project showed me how audiovisual creation can convey powerful emotions and tell meaningful stories. My dream is to become a photographer, videographer, or filmmaker, and maybe even combine these skills to explore all aspects of audiovisual art.
I study at the Public School of Fine Arts in Siem Reap, developing my artistic sense and technical skills. I speak French, English, and Spanish fluently, have some knowledge of Khmer, and a bit of Chinese. These language skills allow me to connect with people from different cultures and share my work with the world.
Every day, I strive to improve, discover new techniques, and transform my ideas into images and videos that tell stories. My nomadic life, travels, and continuous learning have shaped my vision of the world and fueled my passion for audiovisual art. I am determined to dedicate my life to creation, imagery, and filmmaking with enthusiasm and perseverance.
